Changes to Box Hill Release
The latest release by the NSW government has made significant changes to the 245ha Box Hill Industrial release area. This zoning, mooted to be a large industrial zoning, similar to the Castle Hill Trading Zone has had significant changes.
The IN2 zoning for industrial uses has been limited to small areas along Annangrove Road, broadly mirroring the existing light industrial zone on the southern side of Annangrove Road. There has also been a large section of Business space made available along Windsor Road.
Significantly large parts of this area have gone from business uses to light and high density residential.
Brett Beazley from Norwest Commercial real estate said "These recent changes can have a massive impact on the potential value of land. There will be some winners and some losers. Most importantly the owners should seek expert advice as to what their property is worth."
